SUCCESSOR TO QUICKFURY

FuryPlusPlus bolts onto your existing VRCFury install and upgrades it in two ways: dramatically faster bakes, and leaner bake output: fewer animator layers and fewer synced parameter bits. It never modifies VRCFury's files; everything is patched in memory and can be switched off at any time. Results may vary with different setups / avatar configurations. If your avatar is light and your PC is good, you may not see relatively as many gains.

BUILD SPEED

• 25+ hot-path optimizations covering Armature Link, Full Controller merges, the parameter compressor, SPS, Blendshape Optimizer, and asset saving

• Successor to QuickFury — includes all 21 of its validated speed patches, plus new ones

• Play-mode pass skipping: upload-only steps are skipped when you're just testing in the editor

• Every speed module produces byte-identical output to stock VRCFury

• Bake cache & replay: if nothing changed since your last test build, the entire bake is skipped and the avatar restores from a snapshot in under a second. Note: the actual bake takes 1-3s, but you are still limited by Unity processing speed. This means, going into play mode in those occasions will take nearly no CPU usage (good if your CPU is bad or busy while in VR) but the end result to-play-mode time might still be similar as with the option off.

OUTPUT QUALITY (smaller, leaner avatars)

• Strips synced expression parameters nothing actually reads (un-syncs, never deletes; keep-list supported)

• Narrows synced Ints that only hold 0/1 down to Bools (7 bits saved each)

• Smarter parameter compressor: exhaustive solver instead of VRCFury's greedy one, bool lane-packing, opt-in extra params and 4-bit float pairs

• Fewer FX layers: extends VRCFury's blendtree optimizer to your hand-authored layers, consolidates blendtree layers, deduplicates identical generated clips, strips no-op curves

• Optional toggle conversions that turn eligible toggles into blendtree branches (one less layer each)

REQUIREMENTS

• Unity 2022.3 · VRChat Avatars SDK 3.10.3+

• The correct VRCFury version for the version you choose.
