KuraCheer – Avatar Penlight with your own LED text and pictures (Modular Avatar, PC)

Your words, in light. A penlight for your VRChat avatar that projects an LED board with your own text and pictures from its tip.

Drop the prefab onto your avatar: a penlight fits itself into each hand and the menu appears. Everyone around you sees it.

• LED board: 4 texts and 4 pictures, all yours - type the text (Japanese works), drag in a picture, press Generate in Unity. The menu buttons take your texts as names and your pictures as icons. Crisp HD LEDs or retro pixel LEDs.

• One penlight in each hand: colour, board and style per hand.

• 6 colours x 6 light modes (steady, blink, wave, rainbow, pulse, chase), brightness 0.1-1.9x.

• Length 0.3-3x, board size 0.25-3x, tilt and turn.

• Animated: it builds up behind a ring of light, the board rewrites itself from the left, colours blend.

• Detailed body: knurled grip, button and indicator, star-shaped light guide, projector lens.

Light: one shader, no particles, lights or audio. VRChat SDK numbers (added to your avatar): +7,228 triangles (both hands), +2 meshes, +2 material slots, +2.2 MB texture memory. Our test figure stayed Excellent overall.

Requirements: Unity 2022.3, VRChat Avatars SDK 3.x, Modular Avatar 1.10+, a humanoid avatar, 86 synced bits.

PC only (removed from Quest / Android / iOS builds automatically). Players who block custom shaders do not see it.

Includes: unitypackage + manual (PDF: English / Japanese / Chinese).

Licence: use in your own avatars (public avatars allowed), edit freely, no credit needed. No redistribution or resale of the files, and no bundling with avatars for sale. Use only text and pictures you have the rights to. Pixel font: Fusion Pixel Font (SIL OFL 1.1).
